I created a ManageWP account to help with automating WordPress updates but also noticed that it will help with optimization of WordPress. I did some research into the optimization options.
- Spam
- This commands deletes comments that have been marked as spam.
- Post Revisions
- When you save updates to posts, WordPress saves a copy if you want to revert. So, from time to time this is good to cleanup. ManageWP saves the last 5 revisions though you can alter that value.
- Database Performance
- This will optimize the database.
ManageWP also have an Optimize All command.
