I was finally ready to install WordPress. I used the one-click feature of GoDaddy’s Hosted Connection.
The setup was very easy. Here is an article on GoDaddy about how to install WordPress.
The folder location was important. I read in an SEO book that Google didn’t like subdomains and would prefer subfolders. I selected a subfolder called “blog”.
That was it. It was indeed very easy. I will do a future post about the settings that I used. But, I really see the appeal of the “one-click” installs.
