Install SSL on Media Temple

Below are the steps to install a SSL certification purchased at Media Temple on a website hosted on the Media Temple GRID service.

Steps

Buy SSL Certificate on Media Temple
- Log into account
- Add service command
- Activate SSL Certificate command
- Purchase yearly certificate
Enable certificate
- Click Manage button on Add-On Services
- Enter Common name which should be the domain name
- Enter contact info
- Confirm certificate
- Generate SSL certificate
Approve request sent to email address
Install certificate
- Click Manage button on Add-On Services
- Click Install SSL Certificate
- Click Install
Test URL using HTTPS
Perform other HTTPS Migration Steps
- Update HTACCESS
- Update URLs inside WordPress especially images
