How to install WordPress on SiteGround

SiteGround makes if very easy to install WordPress on their website hosting accounts. Here are the steps:

Go to My Accounts
Click Go to cPanel
There will be a section for Autoinstallers. Click on WordPress.
Click the menu for Install
- Choose your Installation URL
  - select HTTP for protocol
  - Leave “In Directory” blank if you want WordPress to be your main website
- Enter a Site Name
- Enter a Ste Description
- Enter an admin username
- Enter an admin password
- Enter an admin email address
- Uncheck WordPress Starter unless you want a selection of themes and plugins
- Under Advanced Options, give the database name something similar to your website name. This isn’t important if you are only installing one website.
Click Install to begin the installation

Once the installation is done, you can login into the WordPress dashboard using the username and password to set.
