CSS troubleshooting

I purchased some code to create a collapsible internal menu navigation. As I was trying to integrate it into my HTML website, I keep getting an underline on a hyperlink element but only in Internet Explorer, not Chrome. Since I am trying to reverse-engineer a purchased theme and now code, there is a lot of places to check.

I finally found the “!important” CSS tag that fixed my issue.
