Create WordPress website using MySQL in Azure

Here are the steps to create a WordPress website using MySQL in Azure

Log into Azure Portal
Click on New “+” link –> Web + Mobile –> Azure MarketPlace
Search for WordPress and click on appropriate result
Click Create
- Resource Group
  - web-wordpress-group
- Web App
  - URL
    - mgw-web-wordpress
  - Appservice Plan
    - Free_WordPress
  - Pricing Tier
    - F1 Free
  - Location
    - West US
  - OK
- Database
  - database name
    - mgwwpdb
  - Pricing Tier
    - Mercury
  - Location
    - West US
  - Legal Terms
    - OK
  - OK
- Create
I got an error message using the new Azure Portal. I tried in the Management website and the website completed successfully.
Enter the URL and complete the WordPress installation

Site Title
username
password
email
Click Install WordPress
