Here are some Google Adsense Tips:

Follow the Adsense Guidelines
Match the ad background to be the same as your website
Place the ads so they are visible without scrolling
Text ads work better than image ads
Include ads on all parts of your website including your blog and forums
For articles, put an ad above the article and also within the content for longer articles
Wide width ads are better
